CALQ/PRIM Artists Residency Montreal

I am thrilled to have been awarded the 2015 CALQ/PRIM Artists Residency to spend 3 months in Montreal this summer working as composer in residence at the national contemporary arts centre.

I will be writing a piece for string quartet and electronics, based around the Quebecois traditional lumberjack culture, incorporating traditional music and song into a contemporary framework.

BBC Alumni Award

I am extremely honoured to have been awarded a BBC Performing Arts Alumni Award to write a new work for the Elias Quartet and harpist Eleanor Turner. The piece will be premiered in London in February 2016.
